Holiday markets can be a wonderful way to spend time with friends, family and get out in the city while exploring a new neighbourhood.  It's multitasking at its best. Holiday shopping that is actually enjoyable, while sipping a latte and hanging out with friends. It's a win-win for everyone.

A few years back (well before having my own kids) I remember the days leading up to Christmas I would find myself feeling stressed at a mall.  Hours of being on my feet, hustling from store to store, I ended up with a few bags of mediocre gifts.  Nothing was original, unique or well made. Thankfully, retail has come a long way and pop-up shops and markets are a new way of shopping. It is a mental shift, but surprisingly many people prefer shopping a 6 foot table displaying quality goods rather than walking an entire store showcasing mass produced items. The added benefit of shopping at markets is that you are shopping and supporting local.  Smaller businesses can thrive and surrounding neighbourhoods strengthen in the spirit of community.

So on this note, if you are in the Toronto area on Sunday, December 4th we would love to meet you!  We will be at The Great Hall between 11-5pm with many other local vendors showcasing some amazing local, handmade products.  There will be some items that are new to the shop and some that will be debuting at the show.  We are making gift-giving easy with ready to go gift boxes, holiday cards and something for everyone.
